BMW Power Steering Reservoir

The OEM plastic power steering reservoir overflows — under hard driving, fluid seeps out into the engine bay. It's a well-known BMW annoyance, and most fixes are makeshift.

This billet aluminum reservoir solves it with more capacity and a cap designed to keep fluid contained no matter how hard you push the car on track. Engineered by EAE.

• Material: 6061-T6 billet aluminum
• Capacity: +180 mL over the OEM reservoir
• Ports: small port 1/2 in. barb to -6AN, large port 5/8 in. barb to 3/4-16 O-ring (-8AN)
• Size: about 7.5 in. tall and 4.2 in. across
• Integrated, user-serviceable filter (Lares-199 included)
• Four anodizing color options

Fits: replaces OEM reservoirs 32416851218 and 32412228855.

• OEM 32416851218: E90/E92/E93 M3, E82/E88 128i and 135i, E90/E91/E92/E93 325i through 335i, 335is and 335d, E83 X3 and E84 X1. Not for cars with Active Steering.
• OEM 32412228855: E39 M5, E60/E61 M5 and E63/E64 M6.

Install tip: fit the cap O-ring with the reservoir upside down.
