From the EAE Lab into your Ultimate Driving Machine: The Power Steering Reservoir

A lot has been written about the flawed design of the stock Power Steering Reservoir. The Stock ones just don’t cut it. Not a track day goes by where a BMW owner is not rerouting the overflow of the Power Steering Reservoir. Some of us use socks to combat the issue and others try to use the current aftermarket solutions that also don’t work. Most of us are in despair and have come to terms with the reality that sooner than later, our Power Steering pump will fail, our hood will be sprayed with PS fluid and we will have to keep praying it doesn't happen the next time we are on the track.

With the collaboration from Euro Power Motorsports, EAE Lab tackled this project on and decided to fix the issue.

HOW DID EAE LAB FIX IT?

The Power Steering Reservoir was definitely a cause of concern for those at EAE Lab which is why they went back to the drawing board. EAE Lab has created a patent-pending design for a new reservoir that allows more capacity within the reservoir along with designing a cap that does not allow the Power Steering Fluid to overflow into the engine bay area no matter how hard you track your car at the concourse! This offers you a consistent steering feel if you are on the track or just on the street.

  • Created from the highest grade 6061 T6 Billet Aluminum

  • Compatible with E9x M3, E39 M5 and most BMW models

  • Adds more than 35mL of volume

  • User serviceable integrated filter

HOW DO PRE-ORDERS WORK?

We have started a pre-order to ensure everyone who is interested has an allocation reserved for them! We do not want to hold up all your money without you getting the product immediately. As soon as we receive our shipment from the manufacturer, we will inform you and you can pay the remaining amount at that time. We are expecting to start production in mid-January 2023. Orders will be fulfilled 2-3 weeks from that time frame. Place your pre-order now if you’d like to reserve a set for yourself as they will go very quickly. The initial production quantity is limited to 200 units.
