A DIY friendly “while you’re in there” solution
The VANOS snap in covers were designed to be fitted by DIY’ers able to do a valve cover gasket change. If you don’t feel comfortable doing this, buy this for your shop to snap in while in there.
The Snap In S65 VANOS Covers are made by M Power Motorsports. They are CNC machined and milled from 6061 aluminum to high precision standards.
The Snap-In Action
The Snap-In action is intuitive. You can view the installation process in the video with a VANOS cam gear on a shelf. You will be doing this in the car.
There are 6x tabs that are used to snap-in. The others are there to align the cover to the cam gears. Verify (twice) that each tab is properly snapped in before putting it back together : )
